She must face a father she never knew, a world that is beyond her belief. A guardian who captures her heart, and a darkness that wants to take it.
On this journey Sarajane discovers her magical abilities and realizes they come with a price. Sarajane is truly tested, as her loved ones are put at risk. The question she must ask herself is, how do you choose who lives and who dies?

What does writing mean to you?

Everything would be the simplest thing to say. Writing is my joy, it’s my escape, my hobby, my true love.
Writing opens up a world of possibilities and lets us explore our minds in ways we never knew. I always found even as a child that writing things down, not stories but a list of stuff that needed to be done, or a situation that I couldn’t see clearly in my head, once I sat down and wrote it out it was so much clearer to me, and then I would see my solution. I was always like that.

As I grew older I started to write poetry, I always looked at his as my diary, all the thoughts rolling around my head that I couldn’t see, I couldn’t make them stay still long enough to catch my jumbled thoughts so I would write what came to me and then read it back, understanding what was going on inside my head. It might sound weird, actually it does sound weird. J But it was always something that helped me.

Then I lost two very important people to me. My poetry came in abundance but it didn’t stop my head from spinning, so one night I had a dream about a man and woman on a black horse going through a wall of fire, when I awake from the dream it lingered for days, so like everything else I wrote it down. I revisited the dream more often then maybe I should have but it gave me comfort through my times of turmoil. One day I picked up a pen and thought about where they were going and I started to write. Writing became my therapist, my friend and once again my escape. I enjoyed every second of writing Eden Forest and I know I am only starting my journey of becoming an author. It’s the first book I have ever written but I know as I write more I will become a better story teller. (Well I hope so).
